"Integrating Robotics and STEM in your Classroom" is the theme for our 17th annual Summer Workshop, July 7-9 (see comments from previous workshops). The workshop will take place at the Holiday Inn in Cartersville, Georgia as well as the new Tellus Northwest Georgia Science Museum. This workshop will be based around the VEX Dual Control Starter Bundle.

This year, the following classes and topics will be covered:

Hands-on VEX component and construction basics
Programming your robot with easyC^®
Game winning strategies (based on the 2009-10 VEX game Clean Sweep)
Integrating math and science into robotics projects
Organizing and hosting your own robotics event
Funding resources for your classroom
Culminating competitive event attendees participate in
And much more!

You will receive 18 hours of staff development training for your attendance.

Registration for the workshop costs $295. This fee assumes you will be bringing VEX components equivalent to the Dual Control Starter Bundle. If you would like to rent a kit from us, the workshop fee is $495, but for only $200 more ($695), you will receive your own Dual Control Starter Bundle (a $500 value) upon arrival at the workshop.

Registration also includes a 1-day pass to the new Tellus Northwest Georgia Science Museum.

We have established a great rate at the Cartersville, GA Holiday Inn right next to the Tellus Museum. But hurry, as reservations must be booked by July 1!
