Windows 2000/XP Issues

For CPUs with ID numbers below 700: Some multimedia presentations will not run in Windows 2000/XP without a certain .DLL file. You can download this file below. Place it in the C:\Cruiser\Media directory.

Video Issues

Some videos may require an Indio codec to display properly. Run the install file below and this should cure your problem.

iv5setup.exe - 1.9 Mb

During the install, you may be told you've got a newer version of the codec and that the newer version must be deleted before the older one can be installed. This new file is called ir41_32.ax and is located in the Windows/System 32 folder.

TCSempty error (1.6 Mb)	6.x	If you receive a TCSempty.mds error when taking a test via Media Cruiser 6.x, then click the zip file on the left and extract the files to the C:\TCS folder. Allow the files to be overwritten.	9/29/08
Test Author's Toolbox (TAT)
Tracker (424 Kb)	updates 6.0.19 to 6.0.20	There were issues with printing that this version fixed. Download the tracker.exe file and overwrite the existing one in the C:\Program Files\TAT folder.	8/30/05
