Tracs
Tracs is a "learner outcome-driven"
system wherein students acquire and perform essential life skills and
reinforce basic academic skills through extensive research/presentation
projects. Essential life skills targeted by the Tracs system include
communication skills, information acquisition skills, problem-solving
and critical thinking skills, and teamworking/social skills. Tracs was a
joint development project between Applied Technologies and SpaceTracs
Technologies.

Project Pals Project Pals is a project-based
curriculum application series developed to assist students as they
acquire and perform essential skills, as outlined in the SCANS
Report,
required for school, career, and lifelong success.
TechnoPlaza The Techno-Plaza is the
centrally-located "action center" of the school. The
Techno-Plaza houses hundreds of exemplary educational resources and
technologies within colorful, futuristic learning centers, called
"Stations," that are highly organized, efficient, and buzzing
with learning and activity. The Stations in the Techno-Plaza create an
exciting and engaging total learning environment which serves as a seamless
extension of the classroom.
Tracs Management System The Tracs Management System features numerous
components, implementation details, and procedures to ensure that Tracs
is a seamlessly integrated, smoothly functioning element of the school.
Trainer2 Trainer2 is a school-wide, 40-hour
technology integration professional development system designed to
create positive classroom/school change. Trainer2 bridges the
gap between technology access, student acquisition of performance-based
essential life skills and competencies, and curriculum application and
integration.
Tracs was conceived to
help deal with the many theoretical and
real world issues facing educators, administrators, parents,
industries, and students. To help explain these
issues, we developed a rationale.
