VersaPods

Applied Technologies offers a unique line of modernized lab furniture called VersaPod™. VersaPods (Versatile Project Oriented Development Stations) are attractive and durable and are custom designed to enhance any room’s decor. Because of their flexible configuration, VersaPods can help organize any workspace. When combined with certain components of our standard lab furniture, an entire lab can be completely furnished.

Each VersaPod has its own unique design with all the same convenient features. VersaPods are designed to fit into corners, along walls, or in combination with other units to create efficient workstations. Basic VersaPods are designed to be stand-alone, if desired. They make great islands in the center of a lab or any large area.

Spaces between legs of the VersaPod can house work surfaces, cabinets, peg boards for tool storage, robots, CNC machines, or whatever type of equipment you desire.

Features include:

  • Futuristic architectural look

  • Flexibility in layout

  • Maximum use of space

  • Custom work areas

  • Project storage

  • Handicap accessible

VersaPods are designed and built to meet the specific needs of each customer based on available floor space and work area requirements. To provide pricing, we must first create CAD drawings that represent the recommended layout. This is a service we provide at no cost to the customer. For more information, contact us.

Here is a list of the available colors for our VersaPOD furniture. There are four surfaces for which you can choose colors:

Quad-Style

In recent years, quad-style furniture has become a standard in many career and technology programs across the country. It is a simple and efficient design that has proven to work very well in this environment.

The unit displayed here is designed to accommodate one to two students, and additional storage can be added beneath the work surface (see accessories).

Quad-style workstations feature privacy panels designed to minimize distractions, helping keep students focused and on-task. A call-light option is available which enables students to quietly request assistance.

Multiple two-student workstations can be combined to accommodate four and eight students in a very space-efficient configuration. Single units can also be placed in corners and a pair of four-person workstations can be placed against a wall.

Quad-style furniture is available in a number of configurations, color combinations, and sizes. For accurate pricing, we recommend that CAD drawings be generated representing your lab with a variety of configurations. This is a service we provide free- of-charge. For more information, please contact us.

Accessories

When using the Modular/Rotational method of curriculum delivery, each student will maintain a notebook. The notebook serves as a portfolio, storing all paper-based work, hand-outs, and worksheets. These vertical notebook storage cabinets are perfect for keeping notebooks protected and organized.
