Career
Connections
Career Connections
is a program consisting of a
series of hands-on mini-courses called Career
Pathway Units, or
CPUs.
Each 10-15 hour CPU
is stand alone, which means it
can be used independently or combined with any or all of the other
units. Each CPU
contains all the software,
equipment, supplies, kits, and tools necessary to complete the
included activities.
The following is a break-down of all that we offer:
|
CPUs (Career Pathway Units)
- self-guided units most commonly delivered in a modular
format |
|
| Lab Equipment |
Applied Technologies manufactures several
pieces of equipment that can be purchased separately:
|
| Lab Management |
-
Carousel
Plus - software created specifically for a modular,
rotational lab that schedules students, tracks progress,
and imports assessment results into the grade book
-
Media
Cruiser/Media Editor - software that delivers
curriculum in an electronic format and, through Media
Editor, can be completely customized to meet local needs
-
TAT
(Test Author's Toolbox) - easily create, administer,
deliver, and track computer-based tests and quizzes
-
Vision -
manage and control student computer activity,
supervise student
progress, monitor or prevent web browsing, share any
computer and remotely control student computers
all from the teacher’s computer.
