Career Connections

Career Connections is a program consisting of a series of hands-on mini-courses called Career Pathway Units, or CPUs. Each 10-15 hour CPU is stand alone, which means it can be used independently or combined with any or all of the other units. Each CPU contains all the software, equipment, supplies, kits, and tools necessary to complete the included activities.

The following is a break-down of all that we offer:

CPUs (Career Pathway Units) - self-guided units most commonly delivered in a modular format	Titles - A-Z list of CPUs including recent upgrades Career pathway correlation - how the CPUs correlate to the States' Career Clusters Initiative Academic standards and employability skills correlation - how the CPUs correlate to national standards including math, science, language arts, and more as well as how the CPUs correlate to many of the personal skills needed in today's workplace including problem solving, allocating resources, and more Delivery
Lab Equipment	Applied Technologies manufactures several pieces of equipment that can be purchased separately: AeroDyne Wind Tunnel AquaTech 400 DataTrack Raceway LoadStar 2000 Structural Tester Robotics Workstation and Accessories Vacuum Former
Lab Management	Carousel Plus - software created specifically for a modular, rotational lab that schedules students, tracks progress, and imports assessment results into the grade book Media Cruiser/Media Editor - software that delivers curriculum in an electronic format and, through Media Editor, can be completely customized to meet local needs TAT (Test Author's Toolbox) - easily create, administer, deliver, and track computer-based tests and quizzes Vision - manage and control student computer activity, supervise student progress, monitor or prevent web browsing, share any computer and remotely control student computers all from the teacher’s computer.
Speed Track Challenge Packs	Speed Track Challenge Packs is an innovative project-based learning system designed to seamlessly integrate radio controlled racing with virtually any career and technology program.
