Introduction

The Polymer Science and Plastics CPU introduces students to the science and processes required for plastics manufacturing. These processes include injection molding, casting, vacuum forming, rotational molding, blow molding, and extrusion. The included activities and multimedia instruction explore the many industries that are impacted by plastic and the careers that they host. The Polymer Science and Plastics CPU is available in 10 and 15-hour formats.
