Photo from the USDA's Agricultural Research Service. In the mid-1990s, Applied Technologies introduced 12 agriscience PACs (Pathways for Agriscience Careers). Since that time, the list of PACs has grown to over 20 agriscience and agriculture-related PACs.  We've also introduced several instructor-led packages including Introduction to Global Positioning, Advanced Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship, and more.

Guiding all of this is our Agriscience Advisory Board.  This group of volunteers, made up of teachers, teacher-educators, and state directors, helps us select appropriate titles for development and the best methods for delivery.

The following is a break-down of all that we offer:

PACs (Pathways for Agriscience Careers) - self-guided units most commonly delivered in a modular format
Instructor-led Curriculum - ranging from 2-hour units to entire courses Exploration Series

Enhancement Series - using this series, the instructor can increase the pure science topics covered and promote awareness of the National FFA

Software These two software packages are used extensively in the agriculture industry and are brought to you with exclusive academic pricing:
  • Farm Works - a suite of fully integrated farm management programs designed to specifically help producers operate their farms more profitably
  • PRO Landscape - design and quote generation software for landscape professionals

  • Carousel Plus - software created specifically for a modular, rotational lab that schedules students, tracks progress, and imports assessment results into the grade book
