Agriscience Series

In the mid-1990s, Applied Technologies introduced 12 agriscience PACs (Pathways for Agriscience Careers). Since that time, the list of PACs has grown to over 15 agriscience and agriculture-related PACs. We've also introduced several instructor-led packages as well as industry-leading software at fantastic academic prices.

Our programs include:

Pathways for Agriscience Careers - units designed to introduce students (at whatever level) to various knowledge and hands-on experience in specific career areas; educators can use the units as either independent or lock-step group study

Instructor-led Packages - from two-hour units to entire courses:

Advanced Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship - a project-based learning package of information, equipment, and supplies as well as suggested lesson plans
Introduction to Global Positioning - a 5-10 hour curriculum package that teaches an introductory class in GPS (global positioning systems)
Topical Horticulture Resource Package - over 100 pages of instructor notes, lab activities, assessments, and work sheets as well as a CD-ROM full of multimedia presentations
Enhancement Series - using this series, the instructor can increase the pure science topics covered and promote awareness of the National FFA
